Denise Dumars has had fiction and poetry published in numerous journals, including Cemetery Dance, Space & Time, Grue, Star*Line, Poetry/LA and many others. She is currently the poetry columnist for The Writer magazine, and for five years was director of the Hermosa Poetry Reading Series. She is the author of two chapbooks of poetry, Sheet Lightning and Preternaturally Yours. This is her first collection of fiction.
