CLF Newsletter

Subject: Speculative Fiction / Reviews & Criticism / For Readers / For Writers
Category: Magazine
Country of Origin: USA

Set up by Dan Pearlman in 1995, and based at the University of Rhode Island, the Council for the Literature of the Fantastic aims to promote all forms of literary non-realist fiction, and to fight against rigid marketplace conditions and long-standing editorial prejudices.

Since the CLF's inception its Newsletter has appeared in several guises, notably as a collaborative publication with the San Francisco-based Permeable Press, who have championed LF for many years. It provides news and market information for writers in the field of LF, responsible and professional reviews of journals and small presses that publish LF, and interviews with, and articles by, LF publishers, editors and writers.
