The results of the 2000 BRITISH SCIENCE FICTION ASSOCIATION AWARDS were announced on Sunday 15th April at the Hanover International Hotel, Leicestershire. The results were as follows: BEST NOVEL: Ash: A Secret History by Mary Gentle; BEST SHORT FICTION: "The Suspect Genome" by Peter F. Hamilton (Interzone 156); and BEST ARTWORK: "Hideaway" by Dominic Harman (cover of Interzone 157).
