UNHINGED Online #4 out now!

Yes, folks, UNHINGED Online is officially one year old and we've a fine crop of illustrated stories to celebrate in this brand new fourth issue.

Brian Ames ratchets up the tension in 'We'll Leave The Light On', an unsettling story about a trucker who unwisely stops at a seedy motel. What could be more charming than an English country house? Almost anything you might think after reading Ann Rutherford's haunting tale, 'Young Blood'. Shawn James' 'See You In November' tells of a date with death - literally! Ann Gale's 'The Assassin' provides a touch of dark humour, while Peter Tennant rounds off the fiction in grisly fashion with his violent and sureal tale, 'The Calgary Beggar'.

Ever wondered how horror writers get their ideas? Mary Mussleman reflects on her own sources of inspiration in our non-fiction selection, 'The Muse Strikes Again'.

Reviewed publications include Lorenzo Dali's novel HUNGRY GHOSTS, anonymous fiction magazine NEMONYMOUS #1, horror webzine SINESTERIA #1, literary webzine THE RICHMOND REVIEW and TRYSTS - a collection of queer and weird stories.

In addition, the following publications have all been given a star rating based on their appearance, content, value for money and potential appeal: DIRTY BOOTS ð FLESH & BLOOD #9 ð LATEX ANGELS ð OF THE FLESH ð SHADOWS, LEGENDS & SECRETS ð THE LAST THING BEFORE THE APOCALYPSE ð YELLOW BAT REVIEW #1 ð YELLOW BAT REVIEW #2 ð WRITERS BULLETIN #32.

"UNHINGED is a fine looking web site with plenty of fiction to sink your teeth into." - Pat Nielsen, SCAVENGER'S NEWSLETTER

During the period of the Bram Stoker Award voting (April) my collection White Space is available as a FREE downloadable ebook from Fictionwise. It will be formally announced on the FW home page tomorrow or Friday.

http://www.fictionwise.com/ebooks/eBook1830.htm

White Space is a mix of SF, dark fantasy, and horror, and contains 39 previously uncollected poems. It is a finalist for the Stoker in the poetry category. In his Locus review, Tim Pratt called the collection "a trip through strange and glorious country."

The book will still be available on FW after April, but it will cost to download it. The original trade paper edition is still available from Dark Regions, Amazon, Chris Drumm Books, etc.
