Grand Reflections is a brand new family oriented digest size magazine which is scheduled to begin production in September of 2003. Because this is a new publication, I am currently unable to provide cash payment to writers. However, you will receive a free contributor's copy of the magazine, recognition, and I will advertise your website or small business for free if I publish your work.

I am seeking manuscripts for childrens/juvenile (ages 8-12), mystery/suspense, religious, short-story fiction, poetry, humor,
and mainstream/contemporary. NEW, UNPUBLISHED WRITERS ARE WELCOME!

Unlike a lot of other publications, Grand Reflections does not require any kind of reading fee. Submitting your work for consideration is absolutely free!

Please submit your manuscript(s) to Attn: JR Thompson, Grand
Reflections, Route 9 Box 499 Lot #8, Charleston, WV 25311. Free writers guidelines can be obtained by sending a SASE to the address listed above.

Please check us out online at http://grandreflections.tripod.com for more details.

The Transylvania Times - a zany online newspaper that reports pn the strange goings-on in Dracula's hometown - just made its debut in the May 1, 2003 issue of Champagne Shivers. Stop in and read the unreal classified ads, or read your horrorscrope or the Dear Crabby advice column. Read the guidelines - we need reporters, artists, and photographers with a morbid sense of humor.

I'm an illustrator/ cover and interior artist with longtime experience in editorial: books & magazines, everything from large pub. to small indies, s-f, horror, fantasy, mainstream fiction, feature articles, op-ed, commentary, you name it. I work both digitally and traditionally. If you are in need of an illustrator, I might be of assistance: please check out my online gallery at URL provided, or contact me for specific samples and references.
I can often negotiate very reasonable rates, but, please, I am not interested in spec projects or freebies.

Thanks,

Tony Gleeson
