Crossroads is an electronic book publisher. We specialize in the unusual, and our authors and artists are second to none! :)

We are looking for well written books of all genres. Crossroads provides expert editing and top notch artistic collaboration when creating your book. We are not a 'self publishing' type of company. We are discriminating and carefully consider each submission. If we do not believe a book is worth our investment,
we do not publish it. See our submission guidelines here:

For a look at the books we have available now, check out our online list and enjoy samples from the books we offer. Clicking on the book cover will take you to a sample of each book.

If you have a book to publish, if you would like to review Crossroads books, or interview any of our principles, authors, or artists contact us at by email. We would love to hear from you. :)

http://thunder.prohosting.com/~stirring

Stirring is a monthly, online literary collection which prides itself in collecting the best of the web's burgeoning writers for publication. Trying to push aside from clichˇ and other such atrocities, we attempt to find writers who do not badger their readers with preachy prose and ridiculous rhyme. The editors are fond of imagery, inventive description, and witty dialogue, and are bored senseless with the terms "soul," "breaking heart," and anything that rhymes with love. Typically we publish a script, several short stories, and around ten poems each issue. We also offer free literary critiques and link exchanges.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us.

Sincerely,
Erin Elizabeth

Greetings all,

I just thought I'd announce that Babel skins are now available for your browser toolbar.

For those of you who don't know what a "skin" is, it's lingo for a graphic interface which covers something previously considered to be pretty unexciting.

http://www.hotbar.com is a relatively new company which has a site where you can download close to 5000 different skins to make your browser a little more colorful. The download only takes a minute, it's easily turned off and it won't damage your system.

If you notice, the top part of your Microsoft Internet Explorer browser is a pretty drab gray. And even though it's only been a few months since I used Netscape's browser, I don't believe theirs is any more exciting.

By clicking on the link below you can have the option of either a cropped version of the top of the tower of Babel Bruegel painting or else a parchment skin with the towerofbabel.com url emblazoned on it. The link below is to my personal gallery, but if you look around the Hotbar.com site you'll find that the skin I designed for the Babel Bruegel painting is on the last page of the Art section now. I would have assumed the other one would have been placed in the Commercial section, but I haven't found it yet.

They're very easy to install. Just click on whichever skin you'd like and magic will happen.

For those of you with graphics backgrounds, yes, they're very easy to make, and not only that, they're very easy to submit to Hotbar. I submitted mine a few days before Christmas and was just notified this morning that they had been accepted.

I hope you all have a great weekend!

Take care of each other,

Malcolm Lawrence
