October 2000 Messages

Michael Pendragon is perhaps one of the greatest poets that ever lived. I don't think the world appreciates his genius. Perhaps someday Michael will receive a well-deserved Pulitzer prize.

View travel pictures of the world or upload your own. I've just launched this site, some people are uploading beautiful pictures. Destress and imagine yourself in a far-off places, or share an experience you had. Enjoy!

News about ACID ANGEL MAGAZINE, AA SMALL PRESS LISTINGS, FIRE IN THE BLOOD & THE BAD SEED

ACID ANGEL MAGAZINE has been put on ice for the foreseeable future. No more submissions are required for the time being. There is little likelihood of a re-launch for some considerable time. Should circumstances change, everyone on my e-mailing list will be informed. If you wish to be added to the list, please e-mail me your e-mail address.

Acid Angel #1 is sold out, but back issues of Acid Angel #2 (£3.50/ US$10) and #3 (£5.00/ US$15) are still available.

Acid Angel #2 is A4, 60 pages and features work by Alan Warner (Author of ćMorvern Callarä), Magi Gibson, Carolyn Finlay, Richard Wonnacott, Rupert Loydell, Tim Allen, Gemma Tighe & others.

Acid Angel #3 is A4, 118 pages and features work by Alasdair Gray (Award winning author of ćLanarkä), Janice Galloway (Award winning author of ćThe Trick Is To Keep Breathingä), Arthur Rimbaud (19th century visionary French poet), Tom Bryan, Edwin Morgan (Scotlandās unofficial poet laureate), Michaela Owsley (a shiny new talent) plus transatlantic contributions from Livio Farallo, Richard Alan Bunch, Mike Matthews, Norman Olson & Steve Mayoff, plus loads more...

AA SMALL PRESS LISTINGS is a detailed listing of 600+ UK Small Press Listings. It is available in the UK on floppy disk (price £3.00) and internationally, by e-mail (price £2.00/ US$5.00). It has not been updated since June 2000 and will only be available until 31st December 2000. The operation is folding because it was far too much work, virtually a full time job. It will however be replaced by RIMBAUDāS RIDICULOUSLY REASONABLE REVIEW OF SMALL PRESS PUBLICATRIONS which is not really a review, but a list of UK magazines, augmented by a list of worldwide publications. Itās a list that I keep for myself, but Iām willing to make it available by e-mail to any who are interested. Send me 1 UK 2nd class stamp or International Reply Coupon and Iāll e-mail you the list.

FIRE IN THE BLOOD has sadly had to be aborted. No more submissions required.

THE BAD SEED is Acid Angel editor, Dee Rimbaudās first collection of poetry. An 86 page paperback of poetry, prose poetry and artwork, published by Stride. Dee Rimbaudās work has been compared favourably to Arthur Rimbaud, Patti Smith, Jim Morrison and the Beat Poets, but his style is inimitably his own and the flavour of his work is informed by the ethos of punk and the chemical generation. One correspondent informed the author that The Bad Seed was the only poetry book she tried to steal from Borders (you canāt get a better commendation than that!!!) £6.95/ US$20

You can buy any of the above individually or you can buy a bundle of Acid Angel #2, Acid Angel #3 & The Bad Seed for the throwaway price of £12.00/ US$35.00 (and if you order before 31st December 2000 Iāll throw in a floppy of AA Small Press Listings for free) UK Cheques payable to DEE RIMBAUD. Please note, ALL overseas payments in US DOLLARS CASH only!!!

Just in time for Friday the 13th AND Halloween, my first hardcover short story collection, CAGE OF BONES & OTHER DEADLY OBSESSIONS is now available from Delirium Books (www.deliriumbooks.com).

CAGE OF BONES includes 20 of my short erotic horror tales. Eight of the stories are brand new and some have been previously published over the past few years in magazines like Grue, Bloodsongs, Terminal Fright, Into the Darkness, Xoddity and Dead of Night. You can read all about the book and get order info etc. through www.deliriumbooks.com/cage.htm.

CAGE features an intro by P. D. Cacek (Night Prayers), cover illo by Colleen Crary and a beautiful color art frontispiece by Andrew Shorrock.

Horror novelist Edward Lee (Incubi, Succubi) says : "This collection launches a blazing new voice into the realm of modern horror."

Check it out and let me know what you think. But keep in mind, this one's not for the faint of heart -- this book collects my most twisted, adult-oriented work. Not for leaving around the house for the kids to pick up!
